Wedges vs. clogs.

Filed under: Uncategorized — blindcopy @ 8:08 am

I was never a big fan of either, but it seems that in 2010 there’s no way around clogs and/or wedges. Both are big and bold, and until now I found them rather clumsy and plump. But after I fell in love with Anne D’s chunky heel I kind of got more open to the whole bold heel controversy. And the more often I saw wedges and clogs in fashion magazines, online and finally in the shops, the more I started to like them. I’m still not ready for a real brave choice of wedge or clog (which also depends on whether I can walk in them or not) but I will have my wedge/clog coming-out soon: I ordered my first pair of – you guess what – yesterday, and I do hope they’ll fit.

Here’s just a small selection of wedges and clogs for SS2010.

Bottega Veneta.

Christian Louboutin.

Givenchy.

Chloé.

Diane von Fürstenberg.

Miu Miu.

Yves Saint Laurent.

Celine.

Camilla Scovgaard.

Marni.

  1. I love those Miu Miu ones so much. I have a similar pair, but I still want these new ones. Thank you for so many sweet comments on my blog! xoxo

  2. I think I’m over wedges (too orthopaedic) but I’m racking my brain if I’m going to wear clogs. It’s been a while, but there is a certain charme about them… Sabine x
