Pretty prints.

I’ve never been a fan of bold prints until I saw this image today on the wonderful Streetstyle London blog.

This dress is by the late Alexander Mcqueen – and it is perfection. Love everything about it. So I browsed the internet to find this dress or at least a similar one (not knowing that they were THAT expensive), but – of course – nothing. There are a lot of prints but nothing is as pretty as this one. Not even the other ones by Mcqueen.

But I came across Holly Fultons designs which I’ve already seen in various blogs and magazines but never really cared about. And suddenly I liked them – especially the dresses of the current Spring/Summer collection.

(Images via Holly Fulton.)

But I think what I loved most about this collection is that Fulton combined the dresses with flats, which is totally my thing and not just any kind of flat but THE Louboutin spiked loafer.

  1. Thank you for the comment!
This print is so gorgeous. I’d love to own something from McQueen someday…and the Louboutin loafers would be nice too 🙂

  2. Yes, sadly they are THAT expensive (apart from obviously not for sale anymore). Holly Fulton’s designs are nice and the combination of short dresses with flat shoes looks great, but not really a substitute for a McQueen dress, no?
