“I do not believe in eras or times. I do not. I refuse to establish the value of things based on time.” Piero Fornasetti

This is why Fornasetti designs still and will always look modern. I was already thinking of moving into their atelier in Milano and live there happy ever after. I would have homemade pasta, antipasti, salads, panna cotta, fine wine – simply all kinds of delicious stuff every day. In the afternoon I would sit in the garden, admiring the plants and flowers and reading a book. From time to time I would pay Miu Miu and Prada a visit or travel through the country. My first stop would be Tuscany and Niki de Saint Phalle’s Tarot Garden. And I would learn how to create furniture and travel around the world to visit clients and talk about bespoke pieces for their homes. Of course I would only meet nice and interesting clients with a brilliant taste….

See why I love Fornasetti design so much? It makes me start dreaming…
