Winter blossom.

Filed under: Uncategorized — blindcopy @ 11:17 pm

I’m in love with the Miu Miu F/W 2010/11 collection. Head over heels. At the same time I feel quite relieved that I don’t have to care (don’t even have to think) about fall or winter clothing because we don’t have cold seasons here in Dubai (UAE). We also don’t have a Miu Miu store, so I can sit back and relax. Nevertheless I feel a slight itchiness when I see pictures of Miu Miu’s collection, which is very 1960s with short sleeveless shift dresses, little A-line shaped coats and chin-high collars (which look a little like a toby collar, no?) – itchiness also in the sense that the wool dresses on naked skin don’t really look soft and comfy. But who cares? (I don’t for the afore listed reasons.) As for the silver and coloured fabric blossoms (I wonder when the winter blossom will reach Zara and the like): I’m sure Miu Miu offers plenty of accessories featuring these little lovely creatures – so I think – I’m back in the game. 🙂

  2. They are so lovely – all you need are a few ‘cold’ breaks to justify these beautiful dresses! xoxo

  4. Miumiu has always amazes me, their designs are explicably simple yet stunning all the time. There’s always a soft touch to it inclusing their shoe style, someday I will own one 🙂

    • @ Style Odyssey: didn’t like the shoes either – but that’s usually a non-deceiving sign that i will want them desperately as soon as they are sold out everywhere 🙂
