Camouflage.

Filed under: Uncategorized — blindcopy @ 5:33 pm

I’ve turned into a nail polish freak, and I really enjoy collecting extraordinary colours (especially from Chanel), and I do use them all! That day I went to the nail salon and I still had one of my Chanel red varnishes on my nails and the therapist said: “Oh, this polish is not from here.” Can you believe that? They have maybe dozens of different red tones from Essie, O.P.I. and one more brand (I forgot the name) and this woman knew that the colour on my nails was not one of theirs.

However.

I was lucky to find all three Chanel Khaki varnishes yesterday at Harvey Nichols (Mall of the Emirates), so I took them all – even though not all three of them might look good on my nails. (Is it really possible that a little jar of nail polish can make you that happy?) I guess they’re are meant to be put in a camouflage kind of way. That’s why I had the idea to photograph the three little jars in a camouflage kind of environment – and I failed. But I will post one of the shots anyway, even though the colours of the polish really don’t show there. Therefore you have the second image, which is a little closer to the original.

  1. I’ve started tackling the subject of colouring my nails too recently… but I’m lightyears behind. Congrats to your babies! (& I’d love to see the varnish on nails.)
