Mix ‘n Match. Part deux.

Hey Fashion Bloggers!

When you take pictures of yourself – do you know those embarrassing and frustrating situations, when you’ve already tried like 50 different poses (hand in pocket, hand out of pocket etc.), and still look like “oh man”, and then – after you’ve finally have a picture that is “OK” – you discover that the background of the pic looks like shit (bed not made, cable salad on the floor etc.)? Yeah, me neither. Piece of cake. I woke up in the morning, felt fresh, looked good, took that picture and went to work.

(Top down: Ann D, Louis V, Current/Elliot, Prada, Christian L). And I swear I never wanted a huge black bed and I didn’t choose it.

  1. don’t worry- your outfit is nice enough that the “cable salad” is hardly noticeable. and i like the sleek furnishings.
green socks with leopard print heels- very charming!
what item is Ann Demeulemeester, the jacket? you should do more outfit shots wearing it; her designs are sublime.
it’s not too hot wearing layers? i’m guessing everywhere is seriously air-conditioned.

  3. Cable salad?! I know what you mean though; my floor is also tangled with my cell phone cable, my laptop, my camera, etc. I love your green socks with leopard heels! Really cute combination! xoxooxxoo

  4. I think there are only 2 ways to go… To fuss, to search for locations, to take another 50 pics and then spend hours editiong… OR to just shoot a few photos and publish them (which I think is the original spirit of the blog anyway). Your outfit looks amazing, and I’m quite envious that you have the real things while I’m only owning the zara version. (I’m talking about your shoes, naturally).

  6. I love everything: the socks (<3), the shoes (<3 <3) the boyfriend jeans (<3 X 100) your scarf, your hair and even the cable salad 😀

And don't worry for the "mess" of the room: I couldn't even take a picture at the mirror, you wouldn't even see me, I would be hidden by piles of clothes on the floor!! ahaha

(you really really didn't have to add me to your blogroll but thanks anyway 🙂 love)

  7. I’m so glad i don’t have to take any photos of me in any part of my house, the preparation and cleaning of my place would take me far too long 😀

  12. I’m really obsessing over stone wash vintage type jeans right now, and wearing them with chunky socks and heels. You’ve perfectly demonstrated this here! xx
