It’s an homage to and an obituary for Japan at the same time. It’s insanely beautiful, nevertheless I also had to stop reading it a couple of times because it’s too sad. Simply unbearable.

a lovely idea, this book. while the stories in it are very sad, it is a great way to raise money for japan. anything to help alleviate the continued suffering. if only i had one of those kindle thingies…

I will have a look at this. While I was in Germany friends kept updating me with news of more earthquakes… It is so devastating and heart-breaking.
