Hello there! Here you can see the result of “clean-up closet, part 1”. I’ve found a long-lost piece I’ve bought at a Matches sales some time ago, but never taken to the tailor for alteration (of course it had to be shortened). It’s from Holly Fulton, and even though I didn’t fell in love with the print at first sight – the shape I loved immediately.
The shoes are from Celine, and I bought them in Hong Kong.
Another thing I’ve never worn (because I didn’t take it to the tailor for alteration) is this simple Ann D tank dress. Now that it has the right length I really love it. You should see the “falling” racer back. It’s perfect. The shoes are Ann Demeulemeester, too. One of my best purchases ever.
If you wonder why the first picture is so yellow compared to the second – it’s simply because I’m stupid and didn’t choose the right setting.
Many items that showed up when I cleaned my chamber of secrets really don’t fit or suit me. I’ve started to sell some pieces on ebay (exactly three, which were sold after a couple of minutes because my prices were obviously too low) – but ebay is not for me. Seriously. I’m such an amateur. It was such a hassle to ship the items…

Oh, I bet your wardrobe is a treasure trove. Love the Holly Fulton dress on you… It’s good to hear about your ebay experiments (I’ve been wondering about selling clothes on ebay, but I’m waaay to lazy to get it going). Maybe, if you want to sell more things, it might be worth to start your own blog shop?
Also think a remote control is in order – so we get to see the racey racer-back!

Sabine, I’ve also been thinking of having my own blog shop instead of ebay… hahaha, yes, i guess my camera has a remote control. you should have seen the pictures i’ve tried to take from the racer back without remote control (reminded me that i should really do some yoga) 😀

I love both pieces! Especially the second outfit – top to toe perfection! Love love love it. Can’t believe you’ve found such gems in your closet! I normally find things like banana peels and ratty t-shirts! xx

collected over years – and thanks to a lot of sales 🙂 ; and i rather spend on one (sometimes more expensive) piece i really love than on a couple of (sometimes cheeper) items that i don’t wear

I love both of these looks. Those Celine shoes are gorgeous and I’m quite biased when it comes to anything Ann D (I have a pair of her wedge sandals from last season which I don’t wear often enough). I agree about eBay. The only time I did it was when I was getting rid of furniture, which thankfully didn’t involve shipping. I’ve never done it with other items, simply because I just can’t be bothered with the shipping.

But if you really really want to stay with Alex you can also send me all your clothes, alternatively. It won’t be the same but my pain would be a bit relieved… They will never fit, but I can keep them on show on my library… Or maybe keep looking at them will make my diet work better, so that I can eventually wear them!
